The hotel offers an excellent ski-in, ski-out experience. The location is perfect for those who want to hit the slopes right away. You can even put on your skis just outside the door. The staff is very friendly and speaks English fluently, which is a huge plus point. The food served here is great and has abundant variety to offer.
The rooms are a bit run down and could use a touch-up, but they are comfortable enough. The breakfast doesn't offer much variety and can get monotonous after a few days.

We had a fantastic time at this hotel! The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special, even providing a delicious cake and a personal bottle of cider for Christmas Eve. The location was perfect for our ski adventures, with easy access to the resorts and a convenient shuttle bus. Our room was comfortable and warm, with a clean shower and our own private bath. The breakfast was a great energy boost for the day ahead, with fresh toast, eggs, and a variety of Japanese set meals to choose from.
All was perfect, no improvements needed.

What a great find! The lodge combines that feeling of a traditional Japanese inn with the comfort of Western beds. The food was amazing - what a varied set meal! And the location was just perfect, not too far from the ski lifts.
The rooms could have been cleaner and the bed linens were a bit musty. It was also a bit noisy at night and there wasn't much to do in the evenings.

After long days skiing, it was great to come back to our comfortable room. We enjoyed the spectacular view of the nearby ski area, and having the option to ski in and out was definitely a plus. the free internet was quite convenient, and the Onsen bath helped to soothe our tired muscles. the friendly staff provided excellent service and were happy to answer our questions.
The hotel's facilities were a bit dated, which is understandable considering its location in a remote area.

Friendly staff, easy access to ski slopes, delicious food, and beautiful view. The hotel staff was incredibly hospitable and welcoming to us. They helped us rent equipment and gave us useful tips on exploring the area. We loved being able to ski right onto the slopes from the hotel and the homemade food was fantastic. The view of the slopes and woods from the hotel was stunning.
For us, it was ideal.
